  1. Low: 90/60 mmHg 
  2.  Normal: 90/60 mmHg - 140/90 mmHg 
  3. Borderline hypertension: systolic BP of 100 mm Hg normal sometimes 90- 
  4. Mild hypertension: diastolic blood pressure 90-100mmHg 
  5. Moderate hypertension: diastolic blood pressure of 114mmHg 105- 
  6. Severe hypertension: diastolic blood pressure more than 115mmHg, sometimes accompanied by abnormalities in the heart or brain. 
  7. Malignant hypertension: diastolic blood pressure more than 120mmHg accompanied with target-organ dysfunction. 
  8.  Systolic hypertension: systolic blood pressure of 160mmHg
